Our Vision
Sunrisen Outfitter seeks to introduce people everywhere to the outdoors—and to the Creator of the outdoors—while encouraging time in nature as a source of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. We provide a marketplace where the Gospel can be seen and heard, equipping both local and online communities through discipleship evangelism, live worship, and opportunities for missions across generations.
Our offerings include waterproof Bibles for tech-free quiet times in the elements, organic foods and natural goods such as ice cream, snacks, dye-free candy, local produce, heirloom seeds, body care items, pottery, leather, woodcrafts, beeswax candles, and fiber clothing. We foster creativity and connection through monthly artisanal classes, and we joyfully donate profits and gifts to support camp scholarships and mission journeys—outfitting people young and old to live with purpose, faith, and adventure.
About Sunrisen
The Outdoors was Suzanne’s favorite childhood friend. Climbing trees, fishing for crawdads, and catching fireflies delighted her soul. Later, as a teen, the stars in the heavens drew her to theCreator of the Outdoors - and The Creator won her heart!
Today, Suzanne is passionate about introducing people around
the world to the Creator of the Outdoors, who is still winning
hearts. His name is Jesus. He has created magnificent wonders
for all to see, hear, touch, and explore. He is a book that can be
read. And He is the lover of souls.
In 2015, God gave Suzanne the vision to combine an Outdoor
shop with The Creator of the Outdoors. In 2025, that vision
began to take shape. The passion, a building, and talented
individuals provided the timely formation of Sunrisen Outfitter, non-profit outdoor shop with a mission.
Psalm 19:1-4
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
